New Zealand Flag

1/4
WALT:Write

I strongly agree that New Zealand should NOT change the flag. Image result for new zealand flag

My first reason is that John Key (Prime Minister of New Zealand) is not caring about our country because if he did care he would let our opinion matter not like all of New Zealand knows that the flag will get changed, no matter what.

My second reason is the flag costs $26 million to change. John Key and his government are just so greedy. He could spend the money on much better things like helping families that are poor or homeless, donating it to funds for the needy, get schools to have more education or activities, rebuild Christchurch and help countries that have had bombings or something bad happen.

My third reason is everybody who wants to change the flag always has this excuse. Australia copied us with the flag, no they did not. If Australia copied us why don't they have the exact same flag to us then. Also Australia was with us in war so if we change the flag they will think that we have betrayed them.

My fourth reason is why do we need to change the flag? I know I have said this already but our flag is perfect now so we have no reason to change the flag.

Thank you for reading my argument.

Riley.

Word work week 7 term 3.

WALT:look in a dictionary and search up the letter at the start of our name and make a paragraph about all of the words.

What I learnt was to search up the letter of R in my name and make a sentence out of all the words I found.

My next step is make it funny - I found it hard to make the sentences funny with the words I found.
